About Us
We are a small family run business providing a high standard of pet care services within the local area.
Pointy Nose Dog Walking was founded through our sheer love of animals. We have a vast amount of experience working with a variety of different animals over the last 12 years. Our previous work experiences include working as a veterinary nurse assistant in a busy emergency veterinary hospital, volunteer dog walking for local rescue centres and working for many years as a professional dog groomer.
We have attended many seminars over the years and passed courses in dog behaviour and psychology as well as having many years experience working with reactive dogs. We are always keen to further our knowledge within the pet care industry with attending more courses and furthering ourselves in a profession we love doing.
We are the proud owners of four dogs and will only ever provide the same high standard of service we would expect for our own dogs.

SERVICES
GROUP DOG WALKING
These walks are perfect for more sociable dogs who enjoy the company of others. We walk dogs who have been carefully matched to one another and only a maximum of 4 dogs at one time unless two of us are present. Walks are 60-90 mins long and include but not limited to lots of fun, basic training and playtime.
SOLO DOG WALKING
These walks are great for dogs who prefer their own company whether it be because they are elderly, nervous, reactive or even dogs from the same household who prefer each other’s company to that of others. Whatever the reason we are happy to help! Solo walks can be either a 30 or 60 min walk including playtime, basic training and lots of fun.
DOG VISITS
Dog visits are a great idea to break up the dogs day whilst your away and include letting them out for a toilet break, some play time, a fuss and if required we can also feed them. These can be 30 or 60 mins but we can accommodate different times if required.
OVERNIGHT PET SITTING
If your going on holiday, have a weekend away or even for one night we can help! We come and stay in the comfort of your pets own home overnight. Our stays include a walk, lots of fuss, playtime and by staying in your own home this enables us to keep up with their usual daily routine. This services guarantee's complete one to one care for your pets!
CAT VISITS
We pop in to feed, play, fuss your cats whilst you are away. We can also empty their litter trays if required.
PUPPY VISITS AND WALKS
We offer puppy visits to break up your puppies day whilst your away. Plenty of fuss, basic training and play included. We can feed if required and pending on the puppies age can also include a walk suited to their age and breed into their booked in time! We offer two 30 min visits a day or one 60 min - if you require a different time scale we would be happy to accommodate you.

Amy is amazing with our 4 month old puppy! She has been friendly and easy to talk to right from the start of meeting Axel, putting me at ease when I go to work because of her visits. Axel has two puppy visits per day twice a week and he loves them, which is evident in the amazing photos she takes of him!
